More great news coming in from the software giant Microsoft. The company is all set to launch its online service that would help small companies to get their work done online like developing websites and maintaining business contacts. The company has confirmed that they would be launching Office Live in the United States November 15. It would also simultaneously launch test versions of the software in France, Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom.

This platform has already been available to beta testers for more than eight months now and is being developed to help the company take on internet companies like Google and Yahoo!

After a brief delay, Microsoft on Monday made available Windows Media Player version 11. The update includes several enhancements, including a new user interface, improved syncing, and integration with the URGE music service.

Streamlining and shortcuts

To simplify the Windows Media Player interface, the classic menus are now turned off by default, but still accessible by right-clicking anywhere on the Player’s frame.

Fast access to settings

Right-click or click the down arrow that is assigned to each activity tab (Now Playing, Library, Rip, Burn, and Sync) to reveal menu options that are relevant to each respective tab. This new feature offers quick access to the most common Player settings.

Universal back and forward buttons

Revamped playback controls

According to MSN Creative the new WLM 8.1 Beta will be released on October 30, WLM 8.1 Beta will be available on the site of ideas.live.com for everybody. The users will be invited by mail and via the Msn page to download it.
